This week, the Innovus team attended the Inspiring Women in Property (IWiP) Awards 2024 at the London Hilton Park Lane, where we proudly supported the Rising Star – Commercial Award. With over 650 attendees from across the real estate industry, the evening highlighted the significant progress being made in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the sector.
The event brought together industry leaders, colleagues, and guests to recognise the accomplishments of women who are shaping the future of the property industry. Each finalist displayed their dedication throughout the evening, and Innovus is proud to have been a part of this exciting initiative.
For us, the most notable moment was seeing our HR Director, Sam Redman, present the Rising Star – Commercial Award to Sarah Thorley from Savills . Sam is an important leader at Innovus and a great example of women in leadership. Her presence on stage made us proud, as she represented Innovus so well and highlighted the importance of supporting diversity and inclusion in the industry. It was a pleasure to see her play such a key role in the event.
The night was made even more special with Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington as the guest presenter. Rebecca captivated the audience with an inspiring speech, sharing her experiences of resilience and determination, which resonated deeply with everyone in the room. Her words were a perfect fit for the evening’s theme of celebrating women who are breaking barriers and achieving great things in their fields.
The Innovus team thoroughly enjoyed the event, noting the positive energy and shared commitment to creating an inclusive industry.
“It was such an inspiring evening, full of personal success stories and the progress the industry is making in becoming more inclusive and diverse. Seeing so many companies recognising the notable achievements of women in the industry is really motivating for all of us at Innovus,” said Stephanie Caw, Marketing Director.
The IWiP Awards highlight the exceptional talent and passion that continue to shape the property sector. Innovus is pleased to have participated in such an impactful evening and looks forward to supporting future initiatives that drive positive change and leadership in the real estate industry.
